It’s Peppermint Season Here at Hackberry!

Variety is the spice of life, and here at Hackberry Tea, we love introducing new and unique brews. While most teas can be enjoyed all year round, there are some that are a little more special depending on the time of year. And this year, just in time for December, we have a special holiday-themed treat. This is one tea that we will definitely be drinking a lot over the next month, and we think it will soon become a new favorite for our customers!

Peppermint is a beloved ingredient for its distinct, refreshing flavor and is most commonly used in herbal blends. The refreshing mint flavor is tasty hot or iced any time of day at any point in the year. The versatility of peppermint makes it a great candidate for blending with other flavors and tea types. For our new tea, we decided to put a seasonal twist to a classic taste. This blend contains all of the minty flavors you love from a peppermint herbal blend but with the added bold taste and caffeine boost from a black tea base.

We have never had a tea quite like this before! To top off the peppermint leaves and candy cane flavor, pieces of actual candy canes are added for an extra kick of mint and a touch of color. For a decadent treat, we love adding some cream or steamed milk and a dash of chocolate. You could say it is our take on a peppermint mocha. Peppermint Twist Black is a highlight of the season for us here at Hackberry, and we hope you love it as much as we do!
