There are certain teas in the shop that screams "Spring!" to us, and we have thoroughly enjoyed each one. Fruity, floral, and fresh are three words that come to mind when we drink these blends, and we cannot think of three better words to describe this season. Here are our top picks for the best teas of spring!
Teas:
Lavender Earl Grey: Lavender is the focal ingredient of this unique Earl Grey and I must say, it is the perfect addition to the traditional notes of Italian bergamot. Both the flavor and fragrance of this beautiful blend will put you at ease. This tea is delicious both hot or iced, and pairs well with a splash of milk or cream.
Lemon Meringue Green: When I first smelled this tea, I immediately thought of a lemon meringue pie. From the citrus flavors of the lemon myrtle to the creamy notes of vanilla, you cannot help but imagine yourself eating a refreshing bite of pie on a sunny day. This tea is great warm and iced.
Apricot Sunflower: There is no denying that our favorite fruit to add to good tea is an apricot. I'm not sure why, but it just adds the perfect contrast to the tea. So we brainstormed and thought, what can we do to bring that deliciousness to the next level. The result was this excellent Ceylon black tea with apple pieces, marigold flowers, and dried apricots. Let me tell you this tea is great hot, cold, alone, and with milk. It was everything we'd hoped it would be.
Youthberry White: Our refreshing white tea is blended with a medley of tropical fruit. The natural sweetness and floral aroma will awaken the senses and rejuvenate the body. Every sip of this vibrant blend will feel and taste like paradise! This tea is especially delicious iced.
Mixed Berry Cream: A medley of berries come together to create a tisane that is juicy, tart, and oh, so sweet! What pairs better with mixed berries than the decadent flavor of crème? It provides a complimentary smoothness to the brightness of berries. This infusion is refreshing iced or for an extra creamy treat, add steamed milk for a tea latte. Voilà!
